Weekend!
What a weekend.
It was very cool to have my sister Michele come down from Charlotte for a visit. Alas, it was also a trip that didn't last long enough.
Saturday was fairly quiet as she was wiped out from the drive and whatnot. We had dinner at Buca di Beppo (love that place), saw Finding Nemo, and hung out at D&B for a little bit before going home.
We went to the Braves game yesterday with an old mutual friend of ours from the old neighborhood where we used to live. The game wound up being a barnburner at the end, and OF COURSE we had already left because it was boring. Figures!
She took off this morning and I am working from home. You gotta love being a lame duck team member! After taking care of some things for a new project I am on (and most likely my final project on this team) I am probably going to roll over to the auto dealer to look at some figures on leases and pre-owned cars.
PS - I found a nifty black shirt that I am going to purchase for this weekend at The Chamber. Hells yeah. Y'all had better check it out!
I also want to give a shout out to tinkerboo, whose party I missed this weekend. My apologies again and I hope I can make it up to you soon. Please pass along to T----- my apologies as well. Thanks!
