A friend of mine spotted the following article in the NY Times and I thought I'd share the sense of humour diplayed by The Economist:

What made me smile further was one of the links provided in the article to a website which explains Muphry's Law, a law, which should be included on the list of self-activating Schadenfreude Laws.
