I don't mind us Europeans adopting this way to celebrate All Saints' Eve at all. More pumpkin to the people. I'm off to watch scary films and cook some possibly pumpkin-based food with friends later today. It's a glorious late autumn day, the sun is out and it's nice and cold. Best time of the year.

Went to pick up my bike from the mechanics today -  had a flat tire yesterday and I'm crap at fixing such things, ergo the mechanic.. but what du you know, just an hour after picking up the bike I hear the familiar "pffff" sound and yet another flat tire.. oh joy. I got  the H1N1 flu-shot this morning, and no major side-effects yet. My arm hurt a bit, feels tired like after too much exercising, but otherwise I'm fine.

I did fall asleep for afew hours this afternoon though, and woke up with the phrase "the lions of Lydgate sleep (or rest?) peaceful tonight" going through my mind, and a picture of four stone ( Read more... )
