National Waffle Day 2014
We made waffles today and bathed in carbs after almost a month of austerity. Will probably end up with s major sugar down tomorrow but SO worth it.
We also sent some extra thought to our maternal Grandfather Anton, who passed away on this day ten years ago. He loved waffles, and it has become a loved tradition to celebrate his memory round the waffle iron.
Very happy with the new double iron this year. SO much quicker to use.
