Here and There
First of all, I'd like to thank Angela for hooking me up with "Veronica Mars: The Complete First Season" DVD. What an excellent show for story writting to cast chemistry, a great over all show. In fact, I've gotten so addicted to it, I'w watched 24 hours worth within the spand of 5 days. I've also grown quite a crush on Kristen Bell, who's probably the cutest person alive.
Now that rant is over with, I just wanted you to know that I am safely back from my trip to Montreal. Despite the poor weather, the trip itself was a lot of fun. I'm not going to get into the details of the trip, but I'm sure you people can use your imagination from the reputation of that city.
Let me just piss and moan about the downside of the trip: 1)Weather, the constant rain fall for the whole weekend really sucked. I'm surprised that I didn't catch a cold. 2)U.S./Canadian exchange rate. Have our economy sunk that low? When I went there back in 2004, $300 U.S. dollar got me nearly $400 Canadian. This time $300 American got me $309 Canadian. Thank god, I actually have money this time around. 3)Undependable friends: I used to call 2 out of 3 in this group my friends. But I don't think its proper to lable them that anymore. It's obvious that they aren't the reliable type. For people who are in their mid 20s, they sure still act like they are still in high school. I guess with age comes maturity isn't always the case. Next time, I'm going to drive back to Boston with Joe and Andrew, and then fly back to NYC on monday morning on Jet Blue, it'll be cheaper...I think.
For the good part of the trip, you'll just have to IM or call me for that info. I hope everyone had a fun weekend as well. For more life and times story of me, just stay tuned to the same LJ website.
