My first day as an actual host. Went ok. Actually got my first tip on a to-go order. Terri's ex came in today to get all her transfer shit worked out. I just ignored her, which I plan to continue doing as long as possible.
At any rate, the last few days have been really great. I hope they continue.
I started reading Good Blonde and Others by Kerouac. And I'm falling back in love with him. I wasn't really out of love with Kerouac, this has just reminded me why I love him so much. I wish I could have been around in his hayday. God, how awesome that would be. Hitch-hiking across the country, meeting all kinds of wild people. Being somewhere till you're tired of it and just picking up and moving on. Just living your life for yourself. Man, that'd be crazy and great.
I think I'm going to go nap.
