(no subject)
i got my dad out of the house today!!! :o) he found a spool of 50 cd-r's for $5.99, and then he found some dvd-r's that he has been looking for a good deal on, for $8.99. so, i told him to hop in the car that we'd drive out to circuit city. so i got the $5.99 cd-r's and dad got the $8.99 dvd-r's. it was a nice drive- i'm glad that he got out. SWEET!
i went and got ice cream today at baskin robbins. i was sad to see that they didn't have chocolate chip, so i got chocolate chocolate chip instead. it wasn't that great, but i got it anyway. wendy couldn't make it because she lost track of time, but i got to hang out with april & her new baby, lia, for a bit. then matt showed up and we hung out for a bit too. it was so good to see them. april & matt were having a cook-out tonight but since i took dad to circuit city, i don't think i'll be able to make it, which i feel super bad about. i'm about to go call april and let her know. i hope it won't hurt her feelings. i'll have to meet up with wendy tomorrow since i'm leaving to go back to aiken wednesday.
so, i woke up at 5am this morning and we had no power. i walked through a pitch black house to mom's room so that she could have my cell phone to wake her up at 6am. i thought that the power was off in the neighborhood so neither me nor mom did anything about it. i woke up at 9:40am and it was STILL off. so i called mom to make sure that she had paid the electric bill (which she had), and then i called ocean lakes office & they said there were no power outages, so they sent a guy over. turns out a wire had shorted out in the meter, so 4 guys came over. by noon, we had power again- hurray! :o)
alright, going to be a butthole and call april to let her know i can't make it to her cook-out afterall today, then email wendy so that i can try & meet up with her somewhere. then i'll go visit grandma & pappa.
i'm sleepy but i have a feeling there will be no nap today. :oP oh well. :o) i'm just glad that i got dad out of the house! sweeeeeeeeeet!
