Huzzah!
Its that time of the year again, atleast in AZ. :) Sunday, Sharon I went to the opening weekend of the AZ Ren Fest here. :) We first went by the new house to check up on it and drop off some papers. The ride to fest from there is pretty easy and not much farther than from here. Maybe a little closer. :)
We had stopped by Blockbuster (well Shell first with no luck) to get a coupon for the first weekend. $20 for 2 tickets, not bad. :) And even better, we used cash, so the line for that is nearly non-existant. Everyone trys to pay for tickets with credit. :) Silly non-costumed faire goer wanna-bes. :)
We got in, and went to the Ded Bob Show and got alchohol. Unfortunately, everyone must be present who's recieving the alchohol... weird people. We saw a couple other shows, which I can't think of the names right now, but they were good. :) I'm just not big on names. :) We also did some shopping and browsing. I ended up buying a new shirt and pants. I figure I haven't bought a whole lot in the way of outfits in a while, and I go a bit, I should just spend a little and get some more stuff. :) So if you want to see it, you have to come visit March 18th and 19th for Scottish weekend here. ;) Or you can wait for the pictures from that weekend, and wish you had come. ;)
I bought my cloths towards the end of the day, and it was right by the jousting ring, so we sat down and watched the final joust of the day. Then it was a mass exit. :) It really showed that we haven't had rain for 100+ days, as the place got really dusty as large crowds all headed to the exits! :)
