I have not made a post for some time...
And I may not make another for a while, but this, in my world, bears mention
Today, March 2, at about 4pm, Morrighan "princess" Wickberg passed away. It was a long struggle, with many issues along the way, but it became too much of rher and she has left us.
I want to say I'm sorry, for two days ago, when this outcome seriously became something which I thought may be unavoidable, I began plans to invite those who have lived with and spent much time with her recently to come and say goodbye. Therefore, to Alaric and Erika, I must say I am sorry I was unable to provide you with that, but early this morning, she took a sharp turn for the worse. Any who have spoken to me in private lately knows the state to which she has been (on and off) of late. To some extent. I have to say, if you have not seen it, its hard to describe. Today, however, I was unable to justify keeping her any longer in the state she was in, and so I bid her farewell.
She was a wonderful pet, a companion, and my little girl. I will miss her coming trotting around the corner with a meow for my attention, her curling up with me on the couch. Her nuzzling her way under the blanket to sleep with me. She went through so much, with my efforts to help her get better, but unfortunately, she did not make it. I'm glad she doesn't, any longer, have to deal with the apperent fear she seemed to experince in her eppisodes, though, for the moment, I can't get over the loss of her presence. They gave her a sedative before the shot, that she might be peaceful, to some extent, before she left.
I can't think of anything else to say.
