for once my psuedo-insomnia is paying off. im at tj's this time. my power has been out for 2 days (going on three). i have a perfect view of the eastern sky. and that means the sunrise. its by far one of the top three beautiful things ive seen this weekend. and ive seen many. and top it off, tj's family is downstairs doing drunken karaoke. they havent been to bed either. and ozzy osbourne is on the stereo. it sounds....heavenly? this is the first sunset ive watched this summer. usually when its between the hours of 5 and 7 im in my room watching a crappy movie. but not this morning. i am happy to say that i am watching the sun paint the sky. i wonder how long it will take the electricians to fix the electric wire outside my sub. and the eagle has landed.

i am a new person.

not just cuz i got to watch the sunrise. but because Gail just forgot the mic was on. what a blast. just kidding, in truth this weekend has rearranged my life. ive had a lot of these crazy life changing weekends lately. this summer has been great. thank you to all those who make it possible.

i have decided not to quit deadohiosky after the radio show. sorry to all the haters. i dont mean to disappoint you. i figure i'd rather try to make the whole situation better. rather than crying about a few bad nights. weve done well, and we can do it again.
