an entry for lauren

its raining right now. and im next to a tree with the window open. Im on the second story of an older suburban plymouth house. patters and splashes are easily sensed. audibly and visually. an excess of sirens can be herd speeding by the beck/ann arbor rd intersection. some guy was driving to fast to late, i guess. im not one to talk about safe driving. so that note ends there. the rain unfortunately has slowed, and so has my music, coincidentally. Some of the more upbeat smashing pumpkins songs have now been replaced by the red house painters featured song on the "vanilla sky" soundtrack. that was a great soundtrack, it had everything. radiohead, creeperlagoon, redhousepainters, sigurros, paul mccartney. it was a great cd to go with an excellent film. more sirens are littering the air. this is the 4th time ive herd them, its rather sad to think about. but then again, i like the rain. and the snow, and all those other traumatic weather conditions. they just appear more attractive than sunlight, or a plain blue sky. i mean its much greater when you have variety to your air. yellows and greys and sometimes greens make for a nice mural of nature. well the rain is stopped now. only the puddles that accumulated on the leaves are dripping down now. so i suppose my weather inspired entry will come to a close.
