r-o-c-k in the usa
things that rock:
~ leftover dark chocolate chip pancakes. even cold, these really are the bomb.
~ coffee from fast and french. in the privacy of my own home. we had carmen grind it for us at starbucks. it's currently in a starbucks bag that reads: fast and french roast. i'm almost positve that's making it even more amazing.
~ cheap records. they now have a $1.99 rack at millenium. so, for $10 i bought abba's greatest hits, meatloaf's bat out of hell, the top gun soundtrack, and two 80's dance compilations.
~ grey's anatomy. i can't believe i'm addicted to this show, but seriously...anything that causes crystal to fling things at the television screen is a-okay in my book.
~ pseudo-cold weather. is it winter? is it fall? who knows. but, i really like being able to wear tshirts in november. and sometimes sweaters. and then, other days, shorts. i'm not sure how the weather guys here do it. it's gotta be like drawing a number out of a hat.
things that do not rock:
~ multiple visits from the charleston police department. i'll let laura tell the rest of that story.
~ having two jobs, but somehow ending up with fewer hours this week than at my one job last week.
~ not being able to breathe. the crazy weather is nice, but it's killing my allergies.
~ having to go to work right now. it's kinda gloomy outside. perfect for more coffee and lazy napping.
