food, food the musical fruit...
it's sunday night, i'm sitting on the floor in my bedroom (kitty's in the chair and i don't have the heart to move her), sausage is browning (probably burning) in the oven, and in a few minutes (when carmen gets here with the eggs) i'm going to begin making the batter for chocolate chip pancakes. i love having breakfast for dinner. hooray for nick, for having such an excellent idea.
it's taken a little getting used to, but i really, really love living in a town where people randomly drop by to visit. yesterday, i awoke to the sound of laura's friend andy (from brooklyn!) coughing in our living room. then, yesterday afternoon joye (the thanksgiving fairy) stopped by and left us with an assortment of homemade goodies. and so, since then there were already 3 extra people in the house, we decided to have some more people over for fun.
and now, since our visitors for tonight have arrived, i'm gonna go cook!
