Status: Unemployed. AH!
My year of hell teaching is over. Finally. Thank you, merciful lord, fairy godmother, Aslan or whomever watches over me. Now, a new task for you: a new job! Please :)
I've been sending resumes out like a fiend and have received very few responses. At this point - after the awful past year I've had and my current feelings of worthlessness concerning my jobless state - I will take anything that pays me decently and isn't commission based. Any ideas?
Dream job - back to news editing. I was such an idiot - so rash and short sighted! /sigh After growing up a bit and trying on a new role, I've gained some maturity (heh) and a new appreciation for what I had previously. Too little too late? Just a bit.
I'm taking a video editing class at the local community college to get back into it and volunteering at the editing lab there (re: wasting time in the lab). So here's to hoping that works!
Until then... I have a lot of episodes of The Closer to catch up on. /sigh
