Woot!
It's been a great few days with the gang. Unfortunately I'm a little behind on the schoolwork, but you can't put a price on the time spent with your best friends, and your best guy.
Jeff decided to take the job at Portsmith. He drove down this weekend for a pre-employment physical. I wish I could have gone with him, and seen his sister, but there's just too much to do here. I'm a little sad that he didn't take the job in CT, because I think there are a lot more opportunities for him in that company, but he would prefer to stay in the area. All that matters is, he's happy. :)
I am so excited about next year! Obviously, I won't be able to see Jeff as much, but we'll make it through. It's easy when you love someone. In the mean time, it's going to be the power trio: Crystal, Liz, and me in the top three offices of TBS. Greg, Liz, Julie, and I (and unofficially Mike) are rooming together in Patch. "It's okay... we're roommates". School's coming to a close, but I get to actually hunker down and concentrate on what I get out of the whole experience. Although I usually love my courses, I'm extra excited for writing my thesis, and one particular course on technical editing.
I'd be missing the point if I didn't realize how lucky I am. Life is exciting, interesting, and wonderful. I'm surrounded by people who love me, who prefer actual conversation and steady, meaningful relationships (friend and otherwise) over drama. This year rocks, and next year's going to be equally as awesome.
