WHF: Open to All

After a long, but successful first day with Abby, I got permission from Giles to use the PA system:

[Softly]

"HELLO! ... is this on? It is? Oh, right. Yeah, into the microphone."

[LOUDLY!]

"GREETINGS SLAYERS AND WATCHERS AND TEACHERS AND OTHER PEOPLE WHO MIGHT RANDOMLY BE LISTENING TO THIS MESSAGE!

Oh? It's too loud now, okay. How was I supposed to know?"

[Softer]

"Hello, it's Andrew Wells speaking. I'll be conducting a spontaneous evening edition of a yoga relaxation class tonight. Anyone is welcome. It will be in fifteen minutes in the Atrium."

[murmuring as an aside] "We don't have an atrium? What's that green gardeny thing, then? Oh, just a 'garden' ... okay. Gotcha. No one will notice.

I HAVE JUST BEEN INFORMED THAT WE DON'T HAVE AN ATRIUM. Meet me in the garden area, in comfy, stretchy clothes. Bring some water and be prepared to stretch like you've never stretched before. It'll be relaxing. But invigorating. Both. And, this... is Andrew Wells, signing out. Thank you."

I set the mic down and looked at Giles. "Was that okay?"
