well, actually jensen had to kill jared to save his own life because he thought jared was gonna rat him out to jeff, and jeff would kill him for being the one who sabotaged the job they were doing with jeff.

and finding out that jared wasn't going to tell on him, and already knew what he really was doing, well that just made him lose any strenght and will to live that he had left.

have to read it again and see if that ddidn't come out right.
I wrote it on the train this morning in like 25 minutes or something, so there wasn't time for backstory. and honestly, I haven't really had anything detailed for that in mind. for me the (supposed) betrayal and the consequences were the main focus this time.

jensen's actual job for the fbi was to take jeff and his organisation down, jared was never part of the plan, in any way.

I'm very glad you liked it, specially the ending you pointed out. I don't know, it makes for such a clear image for me, the white sheet of paper, splattered with the red blood...
