(no subject)
damnit, i missed making all-region by 1 chair. i wouldn't be upset except i know that i could have done so much better than a lot of the kids that beat me if i'd just practiced more and not gotten so nervous that i folded on the last couple measures of the last etude. and if i hadn't gotten a huge crack in my good reed. and...
oh well. it was only a waste of my saturday, plus last monday night.
oh, i have one more thing to whine about: i could only exempt my algebra II and band finals, because in 4 of my other classes, i have an 89 point something that doesn't round up, and mrs. larriba SUCKS because she wouldn't drop my lowest quiz grade/ add my five points from my homework pass like she does EVERY SIX WEEKS until AFTER exemtion forms are due. so basically i should have been able to exempt chemestry instead of wasting my 2nd exemption on band, but god hates me.
Good Things That Happened This Week:
i stole my dad's turntable and a bunch of his records; the bottom line is there's nothing better than the white album on vinyl.
my mom made christmas cookies :D
i didn't fold at the jazz band concert
jordan and brian and i had an American Teenage Experience: we hung out at the mall
some cute guy at all region randomly started talking to me, too bad i had my headphones on and only heard half of what he was saying.
i got the cursive album <3
carrie needs to go study for finals.
