Chapter Seventy Three
Thursday night, this Thursday night in particular was supposed to be all about going over last minute wedding plans with Teddy and Addison. But instead my wife and I and all of our children are standing in our back yard listening to our best friends screaming at Addison’s parents and Susan. Just as I am about tell our children and their spouses and significant others to finish cleaning up the remnants of our cookout and head inside our home Addison and Teddy come running out of their home with the other three occupants running behind them as all five people stop and stare at my family. Before any of us in either back yard begin to move an inch Addison says to her parents “This is a family. These people that are staring at us across the fence are a family in every sense of the word”. Addison begins to walk towards my wife and me as she says “These two women decided over thirty years ago to fall in love with one another and get married and raise a family together and this is a result of that love. All these people that are standing on the other side of this fence are a result of that love. This is a family”.
Teddy walks over to her fiancé as Addison is now leaning against the fence as she continues to say over and over “This is a family” and takes her in her arms as my wife and I meet her at the fence as my wife asks her best friend if she is alright. With tears streaming down her face Addison looks at my Calliope and says “No Callie, I am not alright because you want to know why I am not alright” but then the Captain says “Addison Forbes Montgomery, this is not the time or the place to discuss a family matter. We just all need to go inside and continue this discussion in private”. I watch as Addison’s face changes before my eyes as the tearful look has disappeared and the angry red-faced look takes over as she says to her father for the first time standing up for herself as she says “Father, all my life you and mother have told me what to do, how to act and what to say but tonight…right here and right now I need you to shut your fucking mouth. This is our house, mine and Teddy’s and you are our guests. So sit your ass down and shut the hell up”. All three members of Addison’s family take a seat as she begins to tell my wife and I and our family why there was a screaming match between them earlier. Addison begins to say “Everyone, my parents and Susan informed me earlier this evening that it would be in my best interest if we change the wedding plans a bit. My father has graciously offered his services to walk me down the aisle as he did at my first wedding and we all know how that one turned out”. Addison’s mother response by saying “Addison Adrian, that comment is uncalled for, young lady” into which Addison’s face becomes redder if that is possible as stares down her mother.
Addison begins again as she says “My mother has also informed me this evening that for the past forty years or so since Susan became my mother’s personal assistant, they have been lovers and were married over twenty years ago. My mother and father decided a long time ago to never reveal this fact to me or to my brother Archer. They did not want us to know that they broke our family dynamic. For all these years I thought that my father was a man whore only to find out tonight that he has been single all these years and is just a man. So, this is what I propose is going to happen on our wedding day this Saturday with the full support of my fiancé Teddy and our best friends Callie and Arizona. We are not changing a thing about our wedding day. If the three of you want to share in our wedding day then you will do so without any more of your so called “family drama”. These people standing here before you are my family and they are Teddy’s family and together they are the ones we have chosen to be in our wedding”.
Then Teddy steps up to face Addison’s family all the while holding her future wife by her side as she says “As much as Addison and I would like you all to stay in our home, I think it would be best if the three of you stay at the Archfield Hotel. Timothy, Theodore, Samuel and Alexander will help you all with your luggage as I have already called your driver to come and pick the three of you up and take you all to the Archfield. The wedding rehearsal is here at the house tomorrow at six pm with the dinner at eight pm at Canlis restaurant. The wedding begins on Saturday at four pm with the reception to follow. You are all welcome to attend any and all these events if you choose too but I am warning the three of you right now if you hurt my future wife in any way over the next two days you will all be asked to leave and never return to our home ever again. Do I make myself perfectly clear”?
Bizzy Forbes Montgomery is the first to stand up from her seated position as she holds out her hand to her wife Susan as Susan takes her hand and the two of them walk through our home and out the front door without saying a word to Addison or me. Then the Captain rises from his seat as he walks towards me as I see out of the corner of my eye that Timothy, Theodore, Samuel, Alexander, Karev and George begin to walk towards me as well but not for the same reason as the Captain. Once the Captain sees that the men of this family…my family are ready to defend my honor he stops short as he says “I am not taking responsibility for Bizzy or Susan to say whether or not they will be attending any of the events of your upcoming nuptials on Friday or Saturday. I am letting you both know that I will be attending all the scheduled events and I wish you both all the happiness this life has in store for you both. I love you Addison Adrian Forbes Montgomery Altman and I will never stop loving you. I am sorry for not telling you about your mother and me and our divorce but I am not sorry for not telling you about her and Susan. That story was her story and it was for her to tell you, not me. So gentlemen if you don’t mind helping me with our luggage, we’ll be off then”.
The drama filled night comes to a close as Teddy and Addison and my wife and I are lying curled up on two of our chaise lounge chairs as we are discussing the evening’s tragic performance of Addison’s parents and their family secrets. Karev walks up to the four of us as he tells us that Alexander has driven Katie home and says he will be back by midnight. Then he tells us that if we need anything before Saturday to give him a call otherwise he and Lexie will see all of us at the wedding. Before he turns to go he says “I was going to wait until after the reception to give you ladies these but after tonight’s display you all could probably enjoy them better”. Karev pulls out his cigar sleeve as he hands each of the four of us a cigar and not just any cigar…these are the kind my father-in-law used to smoke…and ohhh how I miss them. As Karev walks away he says “And none of you better tell the little dude where you got them from. Do I make myself perfectly clear”? As he leaves our sight laughing at the way Teddy said that same phrase earlier. Teddy catches his reference as she yells at him “Karev, you’re an asshole” as he laughs and yells back “That maybe true but you ladies love me anyways”.
The wedding rehearsal was attended by not only the wedding party but by the rest of our family and my parents as now I include Susan as one of my parents. My brother Archer also made his appearance known as he made his displeasure also known to our parent too. After the rehearsal going off without a hitch, we all make our way to Canlis Restaurant for dinner as everyone is invited. After a magnificently delicious dinner and probably about twelve bottles of wine consumed I feel my fiancé’s hand gingerly tracing up my thigh under my dress as I jump a little to her touch as I whisper in her ear with a little stutter in my voice “Baby…baby…what…what do you think you’re doing” as my Theodora smiles that very sexy smile of hers as she says “Addison, if I have to explain myself and what I am trying to do to you right now…I must be doing it all wrong” as my fiancé reaches the edge of my g-string and gently strokes my very wet center with her finger as she whispers in my ear “Follow me to the restroom…I need you now”.
The restroom stalls are like a mini room all to themselves. They are not like the restroom stalls of the dirty bar bathroom at Joe’s. Once Addison walks in the stall behind me she turns to lock the door as I slid Addison dress upwards to feel the cheeks of her ass. “Ads, I so love you ass” I say as I push her against the door face first and bury my head into the back of her neck as my hands move up her torso and Addison grips the door tight. Then in one quick motion my Addy turns to face me as she slowly strips her dress off of her shoulders and down her curvy thighs and across her ass as she hangs the dress on the back of the door. My Addy stands in front of me in just her g-string and high heels and she has never looked sexier. I place my mouth over hers as I lift her off the ground and she wraps her legs around my waist as I direct both of us to the small counter top next to the sink. As she continues to suck on my tongue with a vengeance then she suddenly lets go of my strongest muscle as she says “Now fuck me with that tongue of yours, baby” as she raises her legs up to spread them apart to show me her very wet center as I dive in head first and make her scream my name over and over as her hands push my face further into her and I fuck my fiancé.
My fiancé, Theodora Stanburgh Altman, has brought me to two mind blowing orgasms as I have also to her as we make our exit from the posh restrooms of Seattle’s famous Canlis Restaurant as we did not even pay attention to ourselves as we both worried we were gone from our wedding party to long. When we arrive back at the wedding party table everyone is so engrossed in their own conversations that they do not even notice that we were gone. Or so we thought. We all enjoy a slice of dessert and a glass of dessert wine, except for Arizona as she drinks a glass of water with her dessert, before we all make our way out of the restaurant and to our awaiting vehicles. Callie and Arizona make arrangements for Teddy and me not to stay or sleep together tonight as Callie will stay with me at my home and Teddy will stay with Arizona at her home. Just to make it near impossible for either Teddy or I to escape this arrangement, Callie and Arizona have called on reinforcements as Timothy, Elizabeth, Theodore, Matty and Barbara will keep Arizona and Teddy company in the Robbins-Torres home while Bailey, Samuel, Addie, Frankie and Alexander will keep Callie and I company in the Altman-Montgomery home.
Timothy, Elizabeth, Bailey, Samuel, Theodore, Matty, Addie and Frankie all say they are going out for a little while and promise to be home soon. Alexander places his grandmother in his car but first she gives the brides to be a kiss on their cheeks as she whispers something to them and they both say in unison “Barbara” as our son places his grandmother in his car as she laughs a bit and the two brides to be cheeks are pink with embarrassment. Addison and Teddy climb in the back seat of “Ole Blue” as my wife is in the driver’s seat and I am sitting next to her cuddling up to her as close as the Washington State law will allow. I rest my head on my wife’s shoulder as my wife says to our backseat guests as they two are snuggling together “So the sex in the bathroom back there must have been pretty good between you two, huh” as both backseat passengers stumble with their words as Teddy is the fist to say “What…what ever do you mean, Callie” and then Addison says “What sex…what sex are you talking about”? I push my head off my wife’s shoulder as we are both beginning to chuckle as I say “Seriously, are you both serious…you both came out of the restroom in each other’s dresses. Did you honestly think no one would notice that”?
“Oh my god, that’s why Barbara said that we both looked good in the blue dress but Addison looks better in the flower patterned dress that I now have on as we left the restaurant” Teddy says to all of us in a surprisingly tone. Addison says with a bewildered look on her face “How did we manage not to notice that we put on each other’s dress” as I say with a smile on my face “Sometimes the sex is just that good that nothing else matters” as my wife stops at a red light and kisses me and then says “The sex with you is always that good baby that I never think about anything else…just you…just you”. I kiss my wife passionately as we then hear from our backseat passengers “Green light…green light” as I smile at our friends as they smile back at me and whisper “We love you both” as they go back to snuggling and I rest my head back on my wife’s shoulder once again as the four of us head home. We arrive home as the four of us are saying our goodnights to one another as I take my wife in my arms and whisper “You gonna miss me, baby” as she smiles that smile I love so well and says “You know I am just as much as you are gonna miss me too” as my wife kisses me with all the passion she has to give. Before Addison and Calliope leave Teddy and me, I kiss my wife one more time and then I whisper in her ear “Meet me in the pool at midnight and you won’t regret it, I love you baby”. My wife kisses me again and winks her approval as her and Addison make their way to Addison’s home.
I make my way to our pool to swim my nightly laps as my mother has gone to bed after an exciting evening and Alexander is in his room talking to Katie on Skype. The rest of our brood has not made it home yet as they all went out for a while after dinner. Before I begin my laps I notice that all the lights are off over at Teddy and Addison’s home as I do not see my wife at all. I begin my laps and after I swim six lengths of our pool I see a pair of very familiar and very sexy legs at the deep end as they are just hanging in the water milling back and forth. I reach these gorgeous legs as I poke my head out of the water and place my upper body between these legs. Calliope places both her hands on my cheeks as she asks in her sexy voice “Hey baby, enjoying your swim” as she pulls my face closer to hers and before she kisses me I say “I am now” as we both engulf each others mouths and our tongues perform that special dance we both love so well. Without missing a beat my weight shifts a little and I fall backwards back into the pool taking my wife along with me as we never relinquish our kiss. We rise above the top of the water line of the pool as we both need to catch our breath as my wife backs me up against the edge of the pool and begins to have her way with me. I brace myself against the top edge of the pool as Calliope kisses me and trails her tongue along my jaw line as she begins to suckle my neck. I move my legs around her waist and pull her in closer to me as I begin to throw my head back and moan her name.
Thursday when my daughters and I were getting things ready for the cookout, we set up a cabana tent so that sometime in the next three days my wife and I would get some alone time in the tent on the oversized chaise lounge and spend it by ourselves. Well that time has come as I whisper in my wife’s ear “As much as I feel like coming in our pool what do you say we take this party over to the tent in the yard so we can properly make love to one another. What do you say, baby” as my Arizona cannot get out of the pool fast enough to make her way to the tent. Once I arrive inside the tent Arizona is standing in the middle of the tent with her swimming robe draped off her shoulders as I walk up behind her and take her in my arms as I gently kiss her neck. With my kisses moving down her shoulders I untie her bikini top as she lets her robe fall to the ground. When her top is removed I slowly wrap my hands under her arms and as they glide to each of her breasts and I softly caress each breast as continue to kiss my wife’s neck and shoulders. My wife leans her head against my shoulder as I untie one side of her bikini bottom as it falls to the ground atop her robe and now my wife is still in my arms but now she is completely naked to my touch.
Arizona whispers “Calliope” as she turns in my arms and inhales my mouth into hers as she begins to untie my top and bottom of my bikini as we hold each others naked body and then she whispers “Make love to me, Calliope”. I tenderly lie my wife’s body down on the chaise lounge as she spreads her legs a bit to allow me access as I lie on top of her and we make love to one another throughout the night. For the next several hours my wife and I make slow, sensual and mad passionate love to each other as we cover our mouths with each others so we do not make any disruptive moaning noises or scream each others names inappropriately as we do not want any of our family or our neighbors hearing us making love outside. When we finish we lie in each others arms for a little while and then my wife says “We probably should get back to the task at hand as we are supposed to be keeping Teddy and Addison apart tonight”. I kiss my wife again as I say “Just five more minutes I want to hold you just five more minutes please” as I snuggle closer to my wife as I give in and say “Alright baby, but just five more minutes”.
The last thing I hear myself say to my wife is “just five more minutes” and the next thing I hear is Addison saying “You have got to be fucking kidding me” as I open my eyes to find Teddy and Addison standing next to me. I look down my body as I see my wife sleeping on my chest…my very naked chest as I realize that not only am I completely naked…but so is my Calliope. I look up again as I hear Addison say again to Teddy “You have got to be fucking kidding me” as I see her pacing around the inside of the cabana tent. I now remember that my wife and I spent the night in the cabana tent on the chaise lounge making love to each other as our snuggle time lasted more than five minutes. Calliope begins to stir as she starts kissing my chest and moaning my name as I try to let her know what is going on around the two of us but my wife has only one thing on her mind as she trails her tongue up my chest to find my mouth and before I could say anything she plunges her tongue deep into my mouth as Addison screams “Callie Iphegenia Robbins-Torres, are you fucking serious with this shit” as Calliope stops dead in her tracks as she opens her eyes widely but still has her tongue deep in my mouth. My wife slowly retracts her tongue from inside my mouth as I begin to laugh as she stares at me as I pull the blanket over our naked bodies and she says to her best friend trying not to laugh “Good morning ladies, you both ready for the big day today”?
Addison storms out of the cabana tent as Teddy says “Addison” as my wife and I laugh a little and then Teddy turns on her heels to face us again with a scowl on her face that means she is serious. Calliope and I stop laughing as we stare at Teddy as she says “You two got some ‘splaining to do” in her best Spanish accent that simply does not rival Desi Arnez’s then she continues without the accent “Seriously ladies, especially you Callie, we have a lot of work to do today and you have to go and make nice with the lady that is going to be my wife at the end of the day. You both helped with the planning of this shindig, so get up and off your asses and let’s get the show on the road”. Teddy leaves the tent after her mini rant as I hold my wife close to me as I place a kiss on her head and say “We just wanted five more minutes of holding each other close after a fabulous night of making love and we took Addison thunder away from her on her big day”. My wife separates her body from mine as she hovers over me to say “I will go and talk to her and tell her how sorry we are for not keeping our mind on the task at hand”. Calliope kisses me deeply again as she says “But I am not sorry for last night. Any and every night I can spend making mad, passionate love to you is always a pleasure and something I am never sorry about doing…ever” as this time I am the one who pulls my wife’s face to mine as I kiss her deeply as we make mad passionate love to one another again before this big wedding day begins.
Timothy and the other men of the family volunteer to help the rental company set up the outdoor landscape for the wedding as he tells his mami and me “All you ladies have to do today is get pampered with your mani-pedi’s, your make-up and getting your hair styled and helping each other into your dresses. And all us men have to do is shit, shower and shave and then put on our tuxes. So we will work on the design for the back yard with the rental company and help the catering crew if they need any help. All you ladies have to do today is help each other and show up on time. We love you all and will take care of everything else”. I kiss our son on the cheek as I say “We love you too and thank you for all of your help today. Now go and make Addison and Teddy proud my boys”. All the men go off together as my wife and our daughters take Addison back to her house to get ready for today. Teddy kisses her wife one more time as we all hear her say to Addison “Baby, I’ll be the one waiting for you in a few hours at the end of the aisle”. Addison kisses Teddy again as she says “I love you so much and can’t wait to be married to you. I see you in a few hours at the end of the altar”.
Arizona and I have taken Addison’s and Teddy’s phones away from them so they could not take any pictures of each other before the wedding. That is why we hired a couple of professional photographers that Frankie recommended so that they could mingle around both houses before, during and after the wedding and take some candid shots of everyone doing all sorts of things so that Addison and Teddy will have photos of their big special day. With both photographers taking outdoor pictures of the arriving guests, our sons and our son-in-law along with Karev and George begin ushering the wedding guests to their seats in the chairs that adorn the back yard of Addison and Teddy’s home it becomes seriously apparent to both bride’s that this shindig as Teddy called it earlier is about to begin.
With the back yard of our home filled with tents for the reception dinner along with the back yard of Addison and Teddy’s home hosting the wedding, the music begins to play. This is a sign for Timothy and Theodore to check on Teddy and me to see if we are ready as well as Addie and Bailey to check on Addison and my wife to see if they are ready too. Timothy and Theodore walk into my bedroom to see me placing the finishing touches on Teddy wedding ensemble as both of my sons say “Wow” together as they silently say how beautiful Teddy looks and how gorgeous I look in my moonlight blue dress. Teddy is dressed in a cream colored outfit with a moonlight blue vest and a scarf draped over her neck that is also crème colored with flecks of scarlet and moonlight blue as she is wearing a scarlet rose on her blouse. Timothy, Theodore and Alexander are wearing black tuxes with moonlight blue vests and a scarlet bow tie with as each wear a moonlight blue tipped crème colored rose pinned on their lapels. Everyone one of us begin to make our way down stairs out of our home and into Teddy’s home and towards the staging area in the den. Teddy runs out of the den and to the bottom of the stairs before any of us know what has happened as she begins to yell up the stairs “Addison…Addison, can you hear me? Baby, please tell me you can hear me”? As Addison walks to the top of the stairs but does not look down them as she says to Teddy “Yes darling, I can hear you. What do you need, honey”? A few seconds of silence pass except for the music playing outside then Teddy says “Addison, I just want you to know that you are about to make me the happiest woman in the world and that I love you”. Addison begins to cry as my wife tells her that she cannot cry or her make-up will be ruined and just like that she stops crying but says to her Theodora “I love you too and I too am a happy…happy girl today and that too is all your fault. I will see you at the end of the aisle. I will be the one wearing this beautiful wedding dress”.
Samuel, Karev and George are all wearing black tuxes with scarlet vests and moonlight blue bow ties with scarlet roses on their lapels as they are matching Addison’s colors as she is wearing a full length crème colored dress with flecks of moonlight blue and scarlet throughout the dress and her hair is garlanded with both scarlet and moonlight blue tipped roses. Calliope, Addie and Bailey are all wearing scarlet colored dresses with moonlight blue tipped roses pinned on their dresses as I see a glimpse of them as I sneak upstairs for a brief moment without being noticed by anyone. Teddy’s favorite color is moonlight blue and Addison’s is scarlet so my wife and I made sure that these two colors were everywhere in the wedding outfits. Both Teddy and Addison love our ideas that Calliope and I had made for the wedding attire.
I am standing at the bottom of the stairs when I hear Samuel say “Alright everyone, please take your positions as the song is about to begin for this “shindig” to start. I look across the room and give Samuel my Robbins death stare as he smiles and mouths the words back to me “Aunt Teddy told me to say that, sorry momma”. I hear the steps of the stairs begin to creak as I turn my attention back up the staircase and see my gorgeous wife descending the stairs and all I can say is “Oh my goodness baby, you are stunning…magnificently stunning” as my wife greets me at the bottom of the stairs with a scorcher of a kiss as she then whispers in my ear “You too look lovely my beautiful wife. And just think, when this night is over we will get to take off each other’s dresses and you will find that I am going commando all day long” as she kisses me again and I softly say “Mean…Calliope…so mean”.
Theodore and Alexander takes each of their Grandma Barbara arms as they walk her down the aisle for her to sit at the head seat on the right side, Teddy’s side, of the section of chairs as they hurry to make their way back inside as the music begins to change to the song that Teddy and Addison chose as their wedding song. Samuel places the finishing touches on the wedding line up as he says to everyone “Are we all ready to do this” as everyone shouts “We are” and Teddy asks one final question to her bride-to-be “Baby, are you ready to become my wife”? a few seconds linger and then Addison says “A million times yes, sweetheart so lets do this” then Teddy hears the beginning of their favorite song as she looks towards Samuel and smiles. Then under Samuel’s direction, the wedding procession begins as Karev and George open the large French doors that lead from the den to the outside and the guest filled back yard.
