The day after the day before.
The best gift I got this year was probably leaving the previous 12 months behind.
Got alot of good stuff as well though. I finally have an MP3 player and now have a vast array of stuff to hear on trains when i'm bored. Shame I'll be getting the new car in a couple of weeks.
Going to the Rufus regulars party tonight. Will be good to get out with all of my closest friends again. I've wasted so much time with new people and you know what? They're all gone.
But in the past couple of weeks it has become clear who is there for me and who always will be.
Feels so much better now.
It can be frustrating to think that you know someone and how they see you, but the people you've been with for years and seen all sides of them, that's who you can really trust. I suppose the same can be said of me. That's why it's wrong to think that anything powerful can come from young relationships, they need time to grow into what they become. I'm quite impatient sadly.
However, a new year is coming and I'm up for it.
"When does trust slip away and not even matter anymore? Respect loss, how can we rebuild what's been broken before?"
I think I understand that now, it isn't sad.
