Take It How You Want It
It is such a glorious day!!! I just got back from Thayer Street in Providence with Ame - we drove the entire ride home with the windows down, blasting The Starting Line and Yellowcard and singing at the top of our lungs.
Anyway, Wednesday night I went home with Steve to meet his family and spend some time in his home town - it was nerve-wracking but I got along great with his parents and had a genuinely nice time. Thursday night I went over to KP with Steve to chill with his friends and play Beirut.
Taris was in RI on Friday for a talent show and asked if he could crash here, so Friday night Steve and I went to the Providence Place Mall - I got the new Howie Day CD and the just released Self Against City EP and both are excellent. After walking around for a little, we grabbed a bite to eat and then went to see Sin City. All I have to say is that Tarantino definitely had a hand in making that movie - it was exciting, violent, and simply AMAZING. Anyway, we made it back to my apartment at a pretty decent hour but Taris didn't come through until about 4am and by that time we were both almost asleep.
I had to work yesterday afternoon but when I got out Taris and I went for a walk down to the beach and skipped rocks and just chilled out. When we came back we watched 40 Days and 40 Nights until Steve picked us up so we could get Wings To Go and chill at KP with some people. After some wings and a movie, Steve dropped us off back here and we watched videos of kids breakin until Rich, Dennis, Joey, and Rob showed up. We ended up having a small party here with the likes of Steve, Travis, Amy, Shannon, Jared, Lainey, Kyle, J-rod, etc. We played Beirut and a few different card games and then made a 3am run to Stop and Shop for food and finished the night off with a little Van Wilder.
This morning J-Rod, Ame, and I went and got brunch and then Ame, Amy, and I went into Providence to enjoy the weather and all that Thayer Street has to offer. And so now here I sit. I'm about to take a nap cause Steve's coming by after his meeting for the fraternity. That's about it - later dayz y'all.
