Bite To Break Skin
This is long over due but here it is anyway - in abbreviated form.
My Easter weekend started on Thursday March 24th. Taris, Stacey, and I went to UCONN to see Taris' crew break-dance in a presentation entitled "The Elements of Hip Hop." It was amazing because they had the four elements of hip-hop: DJ's, MC's, break-dancers, and graffiti artists on hand to present what they do. And for the record - Taris' crew is wicked sweet!!! Anyway, after that we picked up Rob, drank a little, and hit up Club Blu. Overall it was a pretty entertaining night.
As for that Friday - fuck it cause it's not even worth mentioning or remembering.
Saturday afternoon I got wicked bored so Taris and I headed over to the Quality Inn to visit Joey and Brian at work. We chilled there for a little and eventually Rob met up with us and we went to the Game Room at Golf Land and played video games and some skee-ball. When we left we hit up McDonald's and then went over to Rob's house and watched Dodgeball - by the way, the movie is 830725780327 times funnier when watching it with those guys. After the movie I went home to spend some time with my parents and later on met back up with Taris, Rob, Joey, and Rich at this kid Matt's house (unknown to me it was Stacey's ex-boyfriend's house that we were at). We played some Beirut and then Stacey and Sharon came through which was awesome cause it's always a good time when they're around. After a botched mission to UCONN we returned to Matt's and just drank and played Beirut.
As for Sunday, after eating Easter dinner with my family, I went out with Joey for a little bit. He bought me a chocolate bunny and gave me a Build-A-Bear which he and Taris named "Dante." It's wicked cute cause it's dressed in purple velour and has got light-up kicks on.
Anyway, after taking the bus back to RI, Steve picked me up from Providence. Upon returning to my apartment is when we found my Care Bear dangling from the ceiling as I mentioned in a previous entry.
Last week was uneventful except for getting stoned with Jenkins, Mike, Herms, and Ame on Thursday night. Friday night we had a small gathering here and everyone got pretty shitty - to the extent that Nikki and I were jumping on the couches with glasses of Malibu and OJ in our hands. Lisa came through with Frank and some other surprise guests. The "hot kid with the dreads" also came through - I believe his name is George??? Anyway, Saturday night my boys (Taris, Joey, Rob, Rich, & Dennis) came down from CT - which was fun as always. Rob and I held down the Beirut table for the entire night just killing everyone that tried to play us.
So that's it ... I'm kind of in a hurry but wanted to get that out of the way. Later dayz y'all.
