I suck. No, really, I do. Don't argue with me. I haven't updated since Becky's birthday which has been a freakin month ago. Life has been a little hectic with the holidays and all and work and yadda yadda yadda.
My mom and sister moved in with me a little after Thanksgiving. Armando, the sister's boyfriend came too so it has been a full house. I don't mind having them here, actually it's quite nice to have folks to talk to when I get home from work who aren't glued to the computer. But that's another entry. I didn't realize how cheap I had it in the food department before they came though. Five people put away some food, yo. No leftovers anymore. Leftovers do not exist when you have 5 people in the house. Hell, bread doesn't exist when you have 5 people in the house. Yeesh. Oh well, I come home to clean dishes and dinner. Works for me.
Christmas is going to be good this year. I think we have single-handedly ensured a successful retail season for many stores. I know some of you do not approve of the splurging of money on gifts (Jamie - I love ya) but goddamn if it ain't fun. It's the one time a year I get to do for anybody and I go all out for it. Plus, it's my niece's first Christmas and I can't wait to see her rip into her gifts. That kid rocks. Nick is going to have a very good Christmas even though he really didn't deserve it. I got one of the gifts for both of us though. I got us Japanese lessons! I'm so excited I could pee. Right now my vocabulary in Japanese consists of: "How are you? I am fine," Where is the bank?" and the word for toilet. Although toilet is a really good word to know, I would like to know more. Four months and I should be well on my way to speaking very bad Japanese. Sweet!
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New year. Be safe and I hope you get everything your heart desires.
