Luke's Diner - Thursday Morning
Luke is up early, bustling around the diner, preparing a huge Thanksgiving meal.
They've got a lot to be thankful for this year and he knows that his wife and step daughter are likely to be overly emotional. Especially since they aren't back in Stars Hollow with their friends.
He's also got a surprise for Lorelai, one he hopes won't freak her out too much. When she first took the job down here, they had tried staying in Stars Hollow, but they've been spending so much more time in Fandom, that Luke is tired of spending so many nights in the apartment upstairs. He wanted to consult with Rory on this surprise, but with her... getting injured... he hadn't been able to.
He cleans and stuffs the turkey, peels potatoes, and starts on some pies... because if there is anything he's learned about life with Gilmores, it's that pie makes everything better.
