It's almost here! Turns out I'm going to have a very full house and a full schedule. Hopefully I will see you guys there!
Ravelry is having meetups Saturday and Sunday at Noon in the Rabbit Building. Details are
here. I'm hoping to make it to both, but there's a lot going on so we'll have to see. There's also Mia and Claire's picnic at 12 on Saturday and 12:30 on Sunday so I'll probably only make it to one of these. There there's the Rubbernecker meetups at 2:30 Saturday (which I'm planning on swinging by) and Sunday at 1 (which I'll probably miss). And I want to make sure I say hi to Heather of
CraftLit and Carry of
KnitWit (if she'll be there with her BFF and hopefully a working voice this year). Last year I didn't get any pics of sheep so that's a priority this year (note to self: extra charged batteries) and I want to see the sheepdog demos. Still no word on the Fleece Show/Sale (Patti if you're reading this please email or call me). All this means I probably won't get much shopping in, which is probably a good thing.
There's a great party being planned for Saturday evening at the Sheraton in Columbia with munchies and door prizes and a relaxing place to hang out with your fellow knitters and show off your new purchases and awesome handknits. (I'm sure none of you will be surprised that I've volunteered myself to help organize. oops!) There's an $11 ticket price to cover the food, but there's a $5 discount for early registrants. Info on that is
here and the registration page is
here. All of the paperwork including food orders needs to be in on Monday so we really need people to sign up now if they're planning to come. It'll be fun!
Please help us spread the word too.
