Cat deterrent?

It's finally warmed up enough that I thought it would be ok to put my outdoor bun in her hutch/run on the patio. However, I just spotted a loose cat sneaking up to the run (while she was in her hutch). I suspect it was just curious, but poor Patch did not like it and thumped like mad. I have tucked her up for the night in the shed with her blankets so there won't be a repeat incident tonight. Anyone have any suggestions or advice for keeping cats out of my garden and away from my girl?
