"Where'd you come from? Where are you going?"

Wow, Christmas is only a little over a month away! I don't know yet whether I'm going to make presents or buy presents, I guess it depends on what I can find for everyone (and what everyone wants, obviously). I've been keeping an eye out for gift ideas when I go shopping though.

I went to the mall with Trivy and Jeremy last Sunday, that was a great time. We wandered around Borders and Best Buy, and I ate some tasty Chinese food while Jeremy told us about crazy times with his former roommates. At target I got a little blue dress with light blue hearts, and blue plaid pajama shorts. I also got two Domo-kun figurines, which are sitting on my shelf now.
Spending time with Trivy is so fun. I should kidnap her somehow so we can do that more often.

A while ago Jordan and I found this great Japanese cafe in college town. He and I have gone there a few times, and Thursday I got to go there with Dave, who also really enjoyed it. The food is great, and not only do they have excellent authentic Japanese food, they also have candy, drinks and even ice cream imported from Japan. And they always have Japanese pop music playing in the dining room area. And so many desserts, even of the non-Asian variety, like cheesecake and tiramisu. It's my new favorite place to eat.

Dude, I'm going to see the Cruxshadows tomorrow. I didn't know if I'd actually be able to go for sure, so I didn't mention it before, but Bri confirmed they are playing tomorrow, and she's gonna take me to see them. SO EXCITED.

Speaking of AMAZING BANDS: I finished reading Scar Tissue, which is Anthony Kiedis' (lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) autobiography. It was one of the best books I've ever read. I knew he'd been through a lot, but I had no idea the extent of everything. I'm amazed that he's alive today, considering many of the things he's endured. I've been a fan of the Chili Peppers since I was 12 years old, and reading through the book brought back so much nostalgia when he wrote about his music and events during the late 90's-early '00s, when I was just getting into it all. I have always had such a huge admiration for this man, and now I can say that's true more than ever. What an amazing, amazing, amazing person.
