Title: Cookies?
Fandom: Arashi
Rating: G
Pairing: Ohmiya
Warnings: fluff
Disclaimer: Don't know the boys nor is the story true.
AN: Done as a drabble for
lady_gemma who requested "cookies" as a prompt on my fan journal. I liked it a lot so am reposting it on the fic comm. :3 Unbeta'd as usual.
"Oops?" Ohno looked mournfully at the charred bits of what was supposed to be cookie dough.
"Problems, Captain?" Nino said carefully as he walked into the kitchen, his small nose wrinkled against the smell of burnt cookies. He came up next to Ohno, slinging an arm around him, and glanced at the sheet of metal.
Ohno merely held the pan up, his eyes already giving Nino the kicked puppy look.
Nino shook his head and pushed the pan towards the garbage can. "Why don't we try again? And this time, don't get distracted in making shapes out of the cookie dough. It's not that much like clay, Captain."
Ohno's sad face brightened up as he went along with Nino's plan. This time, he was sure that the cookies would be delicious and that the cookie dinosaur can roam the cookie pan for the burnt cookie plants.
Title: Stare and a Wiggle
Fandom: Arashi
Rating: G
Pairing: Jun/Ohno if you squint hard enough
Warnings: fluff
Disclaimer: Don't know the boys nor is the story true.
AN: I didn't really know where to go with this one. I was just being....contemplative, I suppose. I'm not sure if I like this one but am including it here since it was a challenge to myself. Comments on it are welcome. Unbeta'd.
It was the way that Ohno moved that drew his fans to him. The way his body moved in sharp lines to each beat, the way those sharp lines suddenly curved and flowed into the rhythm as if it owned Ohno's body. And the way he looked beautiful when moving, the rhythm lending a powerful sort of beauty to someone who preferred to stand slightly to the side of Arashi, who preferred to let his band shine rather than shine before them, who preferred doing something he loved than be adored by the masses for doing something he wasn't. That beauty made Jun love him even more for it encompassed who Ohno is.
Jun could never copy precisely how his leader moved, even though he tried as hard as he could, with bending limbs that felt (and even looked) gangly. He could move with the best of any of the other dancers in the jumosho but he felt that he lacked something that Ohno had in spades.
One day, while Jun was watching himself move in front of the mirror in the dance studio, Ohno came up to him, placing his hands Jun's hips. "Just relax, Jun." He whispered into Jun's ears and began to guide him slowly. Jun nodded and tried hard to follow the movements. As the steps slowly became easier and his body flowed better, Jun paused to look up at Ohno. Ohno gave him a soft grin, happiness scrunching his eyes, and said, "Just lose yourself in the music, Jun, and things will be okay."
And, suddenly, it was okay.
