Just as some background for those of you wondering just why I am so ecstatic about the rain: cricketk has posted some rainfall stats, and I'm swiping them*. According to cricketk: In 3.5 months, we've had 12 rain days. If you discount the days with less that 0.5mm rain as simply exceptionally cloudy days, we've had four days where it has really rained out of the last 110 days. Full credit to cricketk for actually doing the research.
