In memory of Kathleen Jean Kerr A.K.A My Grandma
My grandmother passed away at 8:15am this morning. She was74.
She had been struggling to get better after an operation which left her with septicemia. She was in the one hospital down here in brisbane for over 2 months. Now after a long time she can finally rest. It's been hard to see her like she was, especially knowing we couldnt do any more to help her at one stage, except to try and keep her comfortable.
Ill never forget all the fun times we had together when i was younger like visiting her on holidays making marshmallows, going to work with her early one morning, going to the farm.....her cooking was great, but isnt everyones grandma a great cook.
Im glad i got to spend last yrs christmas with her because she isnt here for this one, instead of christmas we will be having a funeral, or maybe in otherwords a celebration of her life. I miss her already,
