The second person was a little confusing to me at first - my mind got stuck on trying to figure out whether it was a specific person, though I guess it's supposed to be a way of drawing the reader into the narrator's exasperation, and the experience of eavesdropping? (and the white noise of conversation just too quiet to follow.) In any case, I eventually adjusted, and by the end thought it was pretty effective. :)
This is only the second drabble of yours I've read, but so far my impression is that you do a great job of capturing the volatile nature of Sakura and Ino's interactions... I mean, obviously in canon they aren't in this kind of relationship, but I think their volatility would remain if they were, and I think you write that really well. I especially love Sakura's comment about surgery being so much fun. Lol!
Again, you also use the prompt wonderfully. I've not thought about it before this, but I imagine all of their anniversaries could be interesting...
A fun and cute drabble. :)

Maybe I'm a bit weird, but I actually tend to find authors' thoughts on their work and their writing processes pretty fascinating. Thank you for the explanation! I completely agree with your reasoning - second person works the best (I don't understand when people hate it being used ever). 'commanding' is a great word for it.
I think they're the kind of couple whose anniversaries could be smooth sailing and rainbows all the way-- and yet somehow never are.
Haha, that's perfect! I'd love to see this in a drabble series of some kind, actually... ^_~
You're welcome! I always try to elaborate in my reviews; I'm relieved to hear you appreciate it.

Hee, I've actually thought about writing something in that vein. I just haven't been able to work out any scenarios I especially like. Ah, well. Maybe someday.
Thank you again! I love getting long reviews, and I especially appreciate them for short works like this.
