“Gnngh... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Hnngmfh...” Alice cried, dropping to the ground in pain, trying to stifle her screams, lest the persecutors find her. She could feel herself burn so agonizingly, yet no fire consumed her body. She could hear the tormented wails of thousands of tortured women. She could feel everyone dying a slow, excruciating death, but she knew she could do nothing to stop it.
“Aaaaaaaaahhaaaaahhh... please... make it stop...” Alice uttered under her breath. Too tired and hurt to crawl further, she curled herself into a ball, attempting to soothe the phantom inferno she experienced.
The British witch-hunt had begun.

Yeah, I figured fem!England would be a witch, or something like that. As many regular people didn't know of her status as a country, she was at the risk of being burnt herself, so she was running away. After that, she only practiced her craft with great secrecy.
