Happy December 13th...
Today was a good day. Woke up, had coffee, relaxed. I've not recalled being so cold as I was today since I've been in San Francisco. It almost felt like there was snow in the air. I know crazy, but it just had that feel to it. Went on a date with a guy from match.com. It was fun, but no spark. He did kiss me out on the street, and well, nothing. I did enjoy getting out of the house. Which did delay the "paperwork 2K8OMG project" for yet another day.
While waiting for the date to show up, went shopping at "A Different Light bookstore. I bought two books today, 1 was used "Men on Men 5". My best friend bought me one of the first ones back in 1991. Male Gay Fiction short stories. It was only $3.00 so not really much too lose if it's shit. Also the inner lesbian called out and I picked up "Rubyfruit Jungle". I've always wanted to read it for some reason, and now I have my very own copy.
This is probably the first year in a while that I did not do my yearly visit down to Florida to visit my family. I feel neutral about it. More kinda like "Meh" Which reminds me, I've been wanting to get my sister a Target gift card. (X) check.
Work has been good, I've been struggling learning some new stuff. Karen is right, as you get older it is harder to learn new things, and yet you can still remember lyrics from songs you heard once years ago.
Watched a show this evening about living off the grid and then did a google search on Humanure... yeah... hmmmm... right... It seems like a lot of work, but if you garden and don't have sewers, it's a win-win. :)
