The food whore speaketh!!

So totally thought of my friend Karen back in NJ this evening.    Went to dinner with 4 other people at this place in Hayes Valley (SF) called Sauces.  They had a bunch of different dishes and they all sounded yummy.   So the food whore in me came out and I WAS READY.   It seems that Carl's BF was ready too.   He sat across from me.   As luck would have it, he and I were the only people that decided that getting a bunch of dishes and sharing would be a good idea.  Him and I split the mac and cheese with chicken, okay it was better than it sounds, but I won't go into explaining it.   So then his BF orders the steak in lettuce wraps.  hmmm, sounds good.  The remaining two people get THE SAME DISH.   So three orders of steak and lettuce wraps.   *sigh*,   Carl didn't even offer any of his lettuce wraps, so I didn't even get to sample them.  But they did look quite messy, just as well.

The appetizers were shared.  There were three of them. Tiny little tilapia sliders (think gourmet white castle), portobello mushroom fries, and steak satay.  YUMMY.   So it wasn't all a total loss :)

Thank god I'm getting the liposuction on monday!! :)
