I was on my way to meet with the SPCA folks to go over the publicity budget for 2008/09. 
It was a beautiful sight, as if someone was inspired with his paintbrush to cast a pink hue over the evening sky.

..and it's not good to have seemingly never-ending renovation and construction all over the nation. For example, the new shopping mall that is coming up across BORDERS Orchard. Where once there was a nice green spacious park, now rectangular steel fences circle the perimeter, hiding the ongoing construction mayhem. I miss the green, the simplicity ( Read more... )

I was away at a civil service workshop for these past two days. One of the questions that was asked by the presenter was to name the order of Presidents who have presided over Singapore, and I was not surprised to hear that 3/4 of the people were totally clueless about who's who.

I decided I would be more active with my surbubian surroundings on my way to work. I felt I was being too passive.
