Today feels like a precipice.

01. My supervisor at work decided to push for me to stay full-time until the end of the month. Her logic? She wants to go to Kansas the second to last weekend and if I go part-time mid-month that will interfere with her plans. I feel...perturbed, about it. But an extra 2 weeks is kind of whatever in the greater scheme of things. And she knows if I do get a full-time teaching job, I'm going part-time and using all PTO immediately. There are no teaching jobs posted locally on weekends. Monday through Thursday, that is the time span when those magical announcements get posted and applications and emails are accepted. The first day of school is August 8. I'm trying to not be bummed about not being there, in a classroom, and doing what I want to be doing.

02. I've had an urge to watch Brave for the past couple of weeks. You see, I finally got around to seeing Tangled - loved it! - and it occurred to me that I hadn't seen Brave either. I had to go out for milk and some other things this morning, after work, and I Redbox-ed it on the way home from the store. Beautiful movie. :D I bawled my eyes out, too. It's been 2 years since Mom died, but I dunno - anything with mother/daughter emotional interactions and I just cry. I'm such a dope. My eyes ache; lucky for them, I'm headed to bed soon.

03. The Skyrim urge bit again. I wanted to level a new character. My main is a stealthy archer type. This one is primarily a mage; I resort to a bow when I run out of mana cause I'm a total noob. But it works! I'm kind of taking my time and savoring the various and sundry questlines and dungeons. On my main, it was all MUST GET THROUGH ASAP. And now I'm more like "Oh, cool, what's around that corner?" Rather than buy any of the initially available homes, I went straight for Lakeshore Manor. I adopted a kiddo. :P And I alternate between doing dungeons/quests and building stuff in my house. I never built a trophy room before - mine is totally filled with Spriggans and bears so far. I think I want a sabre cat for my last pedestal. :P

04. I've gotten into watching the OGN lately (Korean professional League of Legends matches). They're scarily good. They also air when I get off work in the mornings, which is why I started watching them in the first place. But the plays, the game flow, compared to the NA LCS/EU LCS - there is no comparison. Koreans OP! The quarterfinals start Wednesday. Coincidentally enough, I have off Wednesday/Thursday this week, so when I get off work from my Tuesday night/early Wednesday AM shift, I get to watch CJ Entus Blaze vs. K-T Bullets. It's a beautiful thing. <3
