I work with the lead singer of one of the bands you guys are playing with at the Lucky... "Pecky" from In Vain We Perish.

Do you rate them or have you not heard em play?

I've only heard what they have on myspace.
They're alright.... nothing super fantastic....

On Saturday evening, I will be dining at award winning Cantonese restaurant, Flower Drum, in Market Lane, Melbourne, celebrating my 1 year anniversary with
Kate. Tempting as the offer of guttural and oft unintelligible screaming may be, I shall have to politely decline this one, methinks. :P

I've got a party to go to on Saturday, but I'm pretty sure I'll actually be in Sydney on Friday night (staying with my boyfriend), so that could work out well. Not sure if he has any other plans in mind, but let me know the details of the gig and I might be able to come. :)

The Friday night gig is on at The Lewisham Hotel, which is on the corner of Parramatta and Old Canterbury rds, Lewisham.

We go on at midnight (again), and it's a $10 entry.

Glad to hear all is going well though. I should hook you up with my mate Chad, another basist. Not sure where he & his "band" are up to though, but then, the more contacts the better....right?

I'm not sure what the dates are for Springwar, however I was thinking baout maybe attending for a day or two.

Contacts are always useful, as it's great to go to a venue or promoter and say we have 4 bands here, ready to play.

Is that a promise? :p
