Hello all you cosplayers and admirers of cosplay!
I am in the process of creating an AWESOME event for all of us to showcase our and your costumes to each other and to the people in or lives without the cost and DRAMA of conventions also it will be a chance for all of us to give a little at the holidays to those less fortunate.I am looking to enroll people who are willing to help me lead and coordinate this event with me. And anyone who is interested in joining us for the fun!
So I am finally posting in my journal. LOL!
I have been crazy busy with lots of things. Projects, art, life. LOL
Here is something I have been working on and want you all to join me! I think it would be an amazing event! Join meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! LOL
I am calling it CAUSEPLAY FOR THE HOMELESS!
What the idea is that we get together and share our costumes and give each other ideas and help
with costume ideas. We can also invite family and friends that might not be able to go to cons because of time, money and distance.
The "entrance fee" would be simple. Bring a food item, either caned or dry goods that you might not want or an article of old clothing you may not be wearing anymore. We will then donate these items to some of the local homeless shelters in the Boston area.
This is NOT restricted to Boston area cosplayers only! If you are interested and would like to be a part of the festivities and join our event please feel free to contact me and we can work out transportation and a place to stay! We can always make room for you!
