A troubling situation...

It's been a stressful week, so a forewarning to my teammates or anyone else I end up interacting with...I'm far from being in the best of moods...More so than usual, I suppose you could say. So bear with me...

...And for those that weren't aware, I ended up making an emergency trip back to Okinawa last week with Kite. I just now got back to Tokyo this afternoon after having spent a large portion of my time back home lurking around a hospital....The boss's little sister, Mineko, ended up in the emergency room after getting hit by a car while riding her bike on the way to school. She ended up with some cracked ribs and a few broken bones from it, plus a number sprains, but she's stable, at least...and she's alive, which is all that matters. Though we did have a bit of a scare for a moment when the idiot nurse forgot to check her charts and ended up giving her penicillin, not realizing she's allergic to it...But she's fine now and they've been monitoring her constantly to make sure she stays that way and is able to heal properly....
I've had a bit of difficulty convincing Nozomi of that, though...I can't recall the number of times I had to repeatedly reassure her that her best friend wasn't going to die. Though I admit in the beginning, I wasn't so sure about that...And it's not a pleasant experience watching a little girl cry herself to sleep...She has looked so completely lost since the accident. Mineko has become like her rock and she has always looked to her to lead the way...It seems leadership is an inherited trait in the Kite household... So I don't think she knew what to do with herself when something went wrong....But she seems to have calmed down now...I think actually getting to talk to Minekins once she woke up helped out, and she's starting to smile again finally...
But because of all of this, I'm thinking it would be good if my little sisters and baby brother took a little vacation away from home so they can get away from the stresses that have been placed on their minds and hearts, if only for a short while...So I'm planning on having them come up to Tokyo for a week or so...There's obviously not going to be any room for them in mine and the boss's dorm room, but I've already spoken to Kavi-Ojii about it and he said he'd happily house them while they're visiting...Though I swear if that damn fire-spitting pet of his so much as even jokes about eating them, I'm going to banish his sorry-ass carcass to the fucking netherworld...I spoke with Natsuki-nee about it before I left Okinawa and it sounds like she may be coming with them. Which would be good...It for whatever reason me or Rin have something come up and we can't make it out to where they'll be, at least they'll have her to take them sight-seeing or something...

...On another semi-related note, lots of friends and their families have been dropping by the hospital to see how Mineko is doing and how the boss and his parents are holding up through all of this...Aragaki and Shiranui came by a few times, and Tanishi was there almost as much as I was, bringing food from his parents' restaurant for everyone...Ah, I love his mother~~♥ Best damn cook in Okinawa......No offense to your mother, Rin. I still like her food plenty, too...He ended up bringing one of his kid brothers, Roka, with him each time....I hadn't realized until then that he was actually a classmate of Etsuko's. Apparently she's been tutoring him in his English studies...And it seems they've grown rather close as of late because of that. But I also couldn't help but notice that despite the unhappy atmosphere floating amongst everyone there, Etsuko's mood immediately brightened whenever he showed up.......Hmmm~~

[OOC: I have no idea if Kite ended up deciding to stay behind in Okinawa or if he returned to Tokyo with Chinen. So I left that unsaid. >> And I'm so going to end up making Chinen's kid sister fall for Tanishi's kid brother.]
