Uh oh. We thought we were just waiting for a yes from the Grant people. Now we get a message from Cherise, the person we are going through that we have to send in some missing 1040. Don't even know what that is, some tax thing. She calls DH all indigant that the files we sent in have a different tax refund amount than we actually got and its raising a big red flag in Albany and this might be tax fraud and our whole grant and morgtage is in jeopardy. Um. Gulp! Cherise has been a little difficult, one of these arragont women with atttitude but she was going on about how her name is on all those documents and her integrity is in question.
Poor dh is stressed enough as it is and he freaked out. Called his accountant who said 'calm down'. Apparently, we wrote that we were entitled to a certain amount of tax credit and in the end we got back more because I got overpaid at work or something. I dont know but he seemed to think it was a non-issue. I hope so! I wish she wasn't so mean and high and might about this. DH emailed her explaining this all but shes already out of the office so we wont know and be calmed down till tomorrow.
The contract officially expires at the end of this week....i dont think its such a big deal but the seller has been wanting to know what is going on. How frustrating this is becoming!
The good thing is that this is the first time, since going into this whole process that i sincerely davened that hashem help us get the morgtage and grant and house. Really and truly from my heart. ITs good to daven like that.
