crazy week
Ok so this has been a crazy week. First off I was tired of being bitched out by one of ht eowners every 30 minutes so I went into his office nad told him that I wanted to go back to the sales floor. I explained t o him that i didnt feel like he was supporting me aand my position and that i could only do so much with out actually holding the agents hands and making them make the calls that the owners wanted. I tols him I would be more of an asset on the floor selling seeing tha is why i got the psition in the first place becuase of my success on the floor. So I moved to my old desk and began to sell again this all took place on Wenesday so starting on Thursday i was back on the sales floor. On Friday the two owners called me into their office to talk. The amount of sales had dropped dramtically from wenesday to thurday and friday. They asked if i would consider taking the sales manager position back. i told them I would but some things would have to change. From the start my authority was being underminded by some of the agents that had been with the company for a while and felt that they had the run of the office. i had explaained to the owners before that no matter what i did they were never goin to come around. i also told them that if they wanted me to make the changes they wanted that some people would have to be let go to move the company forward. They never were be hind me with that thought process and then on Thursday one of the aagents actually got into an argument with one of the owners. Of course on Friday when they spoke to me they explained that they now understood what i had said from the begiing. Lomg story short they allowed me to let go of the people that needed to go and I took back my position. I did not like doing it but it had to be done. I just turned 27 and the time has come to live in the grown up worls and to make sure that I am pushing myself forward and my carrer also. i have always been able to seperate buisness from personal and now all the other adults in my office will have to also.
