Update time...
I have been up to a bunch of stuff lately, my mom came to visit the weekend before last (we had a blast together), Aaron and Thana had a party this weekend which was fun, school is going good...
Today was crappy though. It was one of those days that just starts out bad and everything bad seems to follow. Well actually initially it started out promising, I had a great work out and was ready on time to head to school. Then the day took a downward spiral. I had class that started at 1:30 today so I left the house an hour prior to the class time. I drove to the nearest train station and realized there is not one parking spot, not one. So I miss my train and would then miss the bus that follows, so I start to drive home and call a cab so that I could take it all the way to school if there was any hope of getting there on time. The cab dispatcher was very rude to me on the phone saying that the cab would be here in ten minutes and that it wont be a safe ride due to the rain (I'm like great... a cab company is saying they can't drive in the rain). So I'm out front of the house and realize I have no cash on me so I precede quickly to the corner store to get out cash. Well this usually empty parking lot is absolutely full and three cars are actually waiting for people to come out of the store so they can snatch their spots. I had to drive out of the parking lot which fed me onto a main road that made me have to wind around side streets a while to get back home. I get back home expecting the cab to be there and is not so I run downstairs to check my Visa balance on the internet ( thinking that I must have enough to get me to school). Well I was completely maxed out and then I began to panic a bit. I had no money to pay for the cab and class started in half an hour ( I was at least a 45 min drive to get to the school and if your late at this school you get 2.5 percent of your mark, they are super picky about it). I have to then call the Cab company and cancel the cab, I was extremely embarrassed to do this but could not pay them, the man, which was the same man I initially spoke with, on the line began yelling at me, he was horrible (most people would not have even called and the dispatcher was only 5 mins away). Well after he hurt my ear and then hung up on me Thana's mom woke up and lent me some cash (so nice), I called a new cab. I took it to the train station and then ended up being 45 mins late for class..ugg. The whole time it is raining so hard. After class it was dark and it took me an hour to get back to the train station I started my day out with. I get there and usually have my car but not this time so I go and find a bus stop and end up waiting in the cold hard rain and in the dark for about half an hour ( meanwhile this guy keeps pacing around me and kinda freakin me out a bit so I did not want to take out my purse to get my bus pass till the bus came, now this guy could have been a great guy but it just felt a bit off so I acted accordingly). The bus finally gets there and I get on and proceeded to tell the driver that I just have to get my pass out and he says that I should have done that before he came ( no one was even waiting behind me or anything). I told him the circumstances as to why i did not have my pass in hand and he said very sarcastically to have fun trying to balance while I dig it out. I swear he all of a sudden had a metal foot and sunk it hard onto the gas pedal and began swerving and taking sharp corners extremely fast (some guys bag went flying up the bus)...what an ass the driver was. As I get off at my stop I slip on the wet grass as there are no sidewalks in my neighborhood and I bet the bus driver was snickering to himself. I finally got home sopping wet and cold and was relived to change into some dry clothes and be in a sheltered place. Well I guess you could say this will only make me stronger... what a day.
I hate how I get fixated on people's comments, these comments can be so hurtful.
