I had to wear an orthopedic boot...
You know I just had to add *something* to that orthopedic walking boot, right? Entry from Craftgrrl, where I posted about my boot!

I had foot surgery, and had to wear that darned boot. That boot is so plain, you know I just couldn't help trying to "bling" it up.
First off, those self-sticking rhinestones? They don't stay on very well. I had to re-do my design. Next batch of rhinestones I put on with hot glue. Even some of those popped off. I think it's because I was banging the boot on things, like in attempting to get into and out of the pickup.
On the left side, my inspiration was the vintage Flower Garden purse box (by Enid Collins) that I have.
On the right side, I was attempting to incorporate the 'buttons' on the side as part of the design. Plus I was thinking snowflakes.
I hope they don't want this boot back!
Now I'm wondering, has anyone else had to wear a walking boot, or a cast, or some other sort of medical thing that you just had to decorate?
