5 classic fics that make me shiver
Since we’re coming up on Halloween, I thought I'd get in the mood with a list of fics that make me shiver. Here’s five that do the job nicely, or in some cases, not so nicely.

In No Way Home by texanfan, Willow is out shopping when she runs into Xander. Xander wants to get some stuff off his chest.
It Raineth on the Just by beer_good has a wonderful sense of impending unease about it. Giles has returned to London after Tabula Rasa and thinks he’s being followed…
There’s more Giles in London in the rain in Watcher’s End by il_mio_capitano. Giles is trying to get home and the only option seems to be via a tube station he’s never come across before. What could possibly go wrong. I love the atmosphere in this and the OCs are excellently done
Experiment by kitty_poker1 is not just shiver-inducing, it makes me want to go hide under the bed. This is Xander/Angelus and it’s dark as night and then some.
Finally, there’s Times like These by Te. Caleb visits Xander in the hospital after the eye incident to persuade him to change sides. The idea of Xander/Caleb almost had me screaming in the other direction when I read it, but again this is a case of trusting the author because it's truly is compelling, very logical in the context of the story and completely terrifying.
