I'm getting a little worried about Willow because she really hasn't shown any improvement since yesterday. Still barely eating anything, still lethargic, still needs help getting up and down the stairs and on and off furniture, still with the sad face all the time. I'm having the hardest time getting her to take her pills because she either won't eat or eats so slowly she ends up spitting the pill out. I usually manage after several tries. Seems like the only thing she'll eat is chicken, so I guess I need to go buy some and cook it up for her and slip the pills in that.
So I'm going to just wait and see, and if she's not any better by Saturday morning I'll call the vet. She did check in yesterday and seemed pleased that she's drinking and keeping everything down, but still. She's feeling so bad. My theory is that she caught some nasty virus while she was being boarded during our Thanksgiving trip. Poor baby.
Went to Casey's holiday band concert tonight. They sounded great as usual. Babydaddy and step-mama came too, which was nice. We all went out to eat at Fridays afterwards. And then she had a ton of homework, which is why it's 11:15 PM and she's still up.
Tomorrow will be a long day, but probably a good one for the most part. I'm going in to work pretty early, around 7:30 (I say that now, but watch me hit snooze 50 times) because I'm not going to get my 32 hours for this week unless I work almost 10 more hours, due to going in late the other day after taking Willow to the vet. At 9 I'll be going with most of my department to
Give Kids The Word, where we will be decorating a villa for Christmas. This should be interesting. When I used to go with my old department we'd have maybe 4 people and be stepping on each other's toes. Tomorrow there are supposed to be 15 of us. LOL, it's all good, less work for me to do. And then I'm thinking we'll probably go somewhere for lunch after. Then I'm working until 5 or 6 and then going to Howl at the Moon since I won yet another party there. I invited several co-workers and then my evite got passed around to several more (which is cool, the more the merrier), plus some of my friends are going, so it will probably be a really big group. Should be fun.
