(no subject)
So, dollar stores are pretty awesome. I must remember to use them more often. I went today because I wanted to get a couple more secret santa gifts (the daily surprises worth about $1... I still have to get her a bigger gift for our party Monday). So I got her a cute little penguin snow globe and a votive candle dish, and also some snow caps because she put on her paper that she likes them. I also got my aunt a birthday card, a couple of stocking stuffers for Casey and a few random grocery items I needed (paper towels, chips, and bla bla bla) and I only spent $16. Then I went next door to Walmart for the few things I still needed.
Today I also decorated the house for Christmas. I don't love doing it... it's just another chore to add to the to do list, but when it's done I'm always very pleased with all the pretty lights and the tree. The tree still needs to be decorated because Casey wanted to help with that and she was at school and then stayed after for media production and then I took her straight from there to youth group and now she has homework. Tomorrow she has a band concert, Friday I'm going out, Saturday she's going to Disney with Brandon and his family, Sunday we're going to Universal with my parents and brother, Monday she has Girl Scouts, Tuesday she's supposed to have a piano lesson with her dad, Wednesday we're going to the Ice attraction with her dad and step-mom... you get the point. We're going to have to pencil in tree decorating sometime before Christmas, LOL.
I still need to do Christmas cards. This weekend probably.
Oh, Willow is doing a little better. She's eating and drinking a little here and there and getting around a bit more. I still have to carry her down the stairs. She tried to walk down and I could see that it was hurting her, so I scooped her up and carried her. My poor baby. But she's getting there.
