YAY, no more vault! Well, for now anyway. I'm sure it's not the last time I'll be asked to help out there. It's not so bad really, but 5 days in a row is more than enough.

I had a nice New Years night, particularly once I got home and had a chance to relax. I puttered around on the computer while drowning out the noisy neighborhood fireworks with my iPod, and then at 5 minutes to midnight I turned on Dick Clark (DVRd the whole thing for later), scooped Willow up, counted down, danced with her and gave her a kiss at midnight, LOL. Texted my friends. And then we went outside so she could pee to see some fireworks. I played DDR on the Wii (so much fun), got in bed and read a bit and then finally went to sleep at 1. So I'm not going on a lot of sleep right now, but the good news is I get to go home to a quiet house and chill very soon. I have to call Chris to arrange Casey's pick up, but have a feeling she's going to end up spending another night. She joked last night that she would keep her all weekend (she loves having her because she keeps Dana out of her hair), but I bet if I had agreed to it she'd keep her. But no, we do have some plans so I'd like her home by tomorrow evening at the latest.

Weekend plans, since I'm off tomorrow (having worked Sunday):

The only set plans we have are on Sunday: Casey altar serves at 9 AM mass and then I'm sure we'll go out to eat with my parents, and from 4-6 we are volunteering at Give Kids The World's new playground (last article... it has a life-size Candyland game, you guys!). Otherwise I want to take down my decorations, clean up the house, use the gift cards and tickets I have to take Casey to lunch at Olive Garden and to a movie, color my hair, return Casey's phone, find her those Club Penguin cards, put pictures in my new digi-frame, and also spend some time relaxing. Good thing I have 3 days.

vault, nye, work
