(no subject)
First of all, this, for your viewing pleasure, is a video I took last weekend of Willow flipping out over the sight of a mop. Shows how often I clean, LOL. Please excuse the mess. I was in the process of cleaning and doing laundry, so you know... it was the storm before the calm. Also, it's not the best quality because my cell takes tiny videos (if I change that setting they are too large to send) and Photobucket enlarged it. Whatevah. It's still pretty damn funny. I'm particularly amused at the time she attempts to jump on the bed and misses. LOL
Second, last night's cat benefit party. It took place in a small bar at a Days Inn next door to a prison, and mostly consisted of strange cat ladies and scary biker dudes, LOL. But you know what, we had a lot of fun. We had a good time laughing at the insanity of the situation. It's all about who you're with and April, Jeff and her friend Mags made it fun. Also there was karaoke. And beer. And wings. How could I not enjoy myself? I sang Under The Boardwalk and then did a duet of You're The One That I Want with April's boyfriend Jeff. I think I was very much off key and pretty bad in general, but it was fun anyway. All in all a fun night and I only spent $5 ($3 cover, $2 for raffle tickets... Mags kept buying us drinks. Woo). So yay. I got home at close to 1. Casey was just barely awake on the couch.
Me: Aw, you waited up for me to make sure I got home okay! (teasing because I knew it wasn't so)
Her: No, I just really didn't want to go to bed. Night.
I have a lot to do today, but I want to try and fit in a long walk with Willow. It's way too gorgeous outside to stay in all day.
