I had a great time at happy hour Friday night. Drinking, flirting and dancing are some of my favorite things, you know. Aside from the beers and the buttery nipple shot (which Christine's nephew Jason bought me), I also tried a Snickertini. It was delicious, but very expensive so I won't be making it a habit. Tons of people came out, but they dwindled out until in the end, it was just me, Christine and her nephew. He got bored with us and wandered off, and Christine and I spent a couple of hours dancing our asses off. Girl has a lot of energy... I killed myself trying to keep up with her, but it was fun and worth it. I fell in love with this group of nerdy guys in one club... God, they were so adorable. They all reminded me of Chuck from the TV show, which is totally my type. And they were having such a blast. Christine and I both wanted to be a part of it. We danced near them for a while, but they pretty much ignored us. They were fun to watch though. SIGH... nerds.
We finally found Jason (he was our ride) and headed out. I got home at around 1 AM and Casey was still up, watching TV. She was barely functioning though, so she went to bed right away. Aw, she waited up for me. LOL. I went to bed then too. I had the worst stomach ache. I don't know if it had anything to do with the drinking or what, but it started halfway through the night and didn't go away until this afternoon. Bleh.
Today I got up at around 11. Got the laundry going, took a shower, and then attempted to balance my checkbook. But hey, add this to the list of ways Best Buy fucked up my computer.... Quicken seems to be missing. GR. I did a search and found some files, but none of them are exe files or anything that looks like it could run the program. I originally got it from my mom, so she's going to give me the disc tomorrow when I see her for church and I'll just install it again.
This afternoon Casey and I went to see Madagascar 2. It was good. A pretty blatant Lion King ripoff, but amusing nonetheless. After the movie we walked through downtown Disney to go look at the new restaurant,
T-Rex. It's basically Rainforest Cafe, but with dinosaurs. And way cooler. The place is amazing. We are now dying to eat there, but I'm sure it's crazy expensive and plus, there was a gigantic line to get in. Probably best to at least wait until it's not so new and popular anymore. And maybe go when someone else is picking up the check, LOL.
On the way home I had to stop for gas, and then we randomly decided to eat dinner at a pizza place in the gas station. They had great wings, so-so pizza and really slow service.
