-Happy Valentines Day, guys. I'm going to try not to be bitter about it this year. It's a celebration of love, and I have so much of that in my life. I'm very grateful. This morning I wished Casey a happy Vday, gave her a kiss on the head and reminded her that she's still my Valentine. And she didn't even protest! What?
-In youth group last night, she made promise coupons for various people as Valentine gifts. I got 2, one saying she'll help with walking the dog and the other saying she'll help me cook for 2 weeks. I'm curious to know what her definition of "help" is here. Walking the dog once a day after school and letting me do it all the other times? Because that's what she does now. Still, it's a nice thought and we'll see if I can get her to actually do these things. She used to love to help me cook, but lately when we're home she's sucked into the VMK void and it takes a lot to pull her away.
-While she was in youth group, I stopped at Petco for crickets, put gas in my car, went home and took Willow for a walk and then we both got in the car and went to pick her up. Willow loves going for rides in the car so much, but she's also a pain in the ass, climbing all over me while I'm trying to drive, etc. But I let her come with me once in a while so she can have some excitement in her life. LOL
-Watched Big Brother last night. I only managed to record the second half of Wednesday's episode because I realized too late that the DVR wasn't recording it. So I watched Tuesday's ep and then all I had of Wednesday's last night. It should be pretty interesting. I think it's pretty shitty of them to put a couple in the house and then pair them each with someone else. I mean come on, they have to sleep in the same bed as their partner! And it's also not cool because the people they are paired with aren't really getting matched up with a possible "true love", because that person is taken. But of course it will all make for good TV. So much for the whole exes living together thing (also pretty mean, especially since he cheated on her). That's what Big Brother gets for having an elimination so quickly.That older lady is a total bitch. I already hate her so much. Yes, her partner is ugly (he does at least have a nice body though), but that doesn't make it okay to rant and rave about what a troll he is right in front of him. WTF? She didn't see him go off about how he got stuck with the old lady, did she? She reminded me of Jen last season, when she was going on about how she didn't want Dick to touch her. Well, at least Dick was an asshole so I didn't really feel that bad for him. And I also likened her little hissy fit to how Jen reacted to her picture on the wall. Like total meltdown over nothing. Jebus. Hurray for Eric and Jessica being on! And I'm so glad to see that they are still together. Eric was my favorite last season.
